Square Enix In Contract Talks To Bring Japanese 7/11 Items To North America

During the PAX East Q&A, Yoshida announced that contact talks had begun to bring over the unique Japanese 7/11 Final Fantasy XIV items to North America.

He had no official statement beyond that talks had begun, giving no details on which retailer might stock codes or which specific items would be brought over.

The items, which could be purchased through points gained from using codes from soft drinks purchased at 7/11 in Japan, have been causing stores to sell out of participating beverages as players strive to gain access to Crag Masks, Housemaid Attire, and the White Fat Chocobo mount.
