You’re Given Another Chance After Dying On Your Wedding Night In SoulSlayer

When Yao Xiu opens her eyes after being killed on the night of her wedding, she has only three chances to change the past and avoid her death in Soulslayer, a visual novel set in ancient China.

The English version of the game, currently on Steam Greenlight, contains multiple endings that are affected by the player’s decisions throughout the game. Yao Xiu has three chances to save herself over the course of each playthrough, and if the player doesn’t make enough correct decisions, she will die permanently.

The game uses a clue system that will let players gather information, helping inform the decisions they make so that they can break Yao’s cycle of death.

Should it get onto Steam, Soulslayer will have Chinese voice acting with English text.
