Final Fantasy XV’s Theme Song Is Stand By Me

Recommended Videos

Final Fantasy XV relies heavily on the bonds between Noctis, his family, and his friends. It makes sense that, at Uncovered: Final Fantasy, Square Enix revealed a cover of Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me” will be one of the game’s theme songs.

Florence and the Machine performs the cover of “Stand by Me” for Final Fantasy XV. Florence Welch spoke about her contribution, saying she wanted to do a mythical contribution. She also said the cover’s orchestra had brass and strings sections, as well as a timpani. She also said “Stand by Me” is a song that’s difficult to improve upon.

Final Fantasy XV will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30, 2016.
