Compile Heart recently revealed Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates as their latest title from the series, and series producer Norihisa Kochiwa had more to share in this week’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation. [Thanks, Hachima.]

What is the reason the genre was decided as an RPG?

Kochiwa: “With Felistella’s Knowhow on RPGs such as Compile Heart’s Neptunia, this time around we decided to release it as an RPG.”

Will any male character make an appearance?

“They will not appear. We’ve decided to focus on expressing the soft breast of the women.”

About how many girls will appear in the game?

“There are seven main girls, but there will be many other monster girls that will appear. There will also be some parts that get lively with strange monsters shown in 3D [rendering].”

More on “pai-raising”

“With the growth system in this game, you’ll have girls facing their own breasts, and they’ll raise [as in leveling] as they get rubbed. Rubbing them increases their status. Not only can you make them larger, but you can also raise them to be smaller [breasts], too.”

“Bigger breasts add attack and higher defense, and on the other hand, smaller breasts add speed.”

“At first glance, the game might appear to be full of sex appeal elements, but we’re also properly working on its contents.”

Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates is in development for PlayStation Vita.
