Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow Video Shows Off Important Pokémon Moments

Recommended Videos

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. It is designed to remind people of what to expect from the original Pokémon games once they are rereleased on the Nintendo eShop.

The over two minute video begins by going through Pokémon Red and Blue, starting from when the player receives their first Pokémon from Professor Oak, then faces the rock-type gym leader, Brock. From there, it goes on to Pokémon Yellow, the entry in which Pikachu can dutifully follow behind the player. The video gives people a chance to see important moments from the games, like matches against gym leaders and playing a Poké Flute and offers peeks at the battle system.

Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow will be released on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console on February 27, 2016. People will be able to find all three in the eShop.
