Sekai Project has announced that it is now in the final stages of getting visual novel The Fruit of Grisaia approved for PlayStation Vita.

In an update on Kickstarter, the publisher wrote that it’s currently preparing a submission build for Sony to evaluate for the game’s approval.

“We’re also now officially licensed developers for PlayStation so it won’t be as long as a process to get our games approved by Sony,” Sekai Project added.

Previously, back in October 2015, Sekai Project detailed the difficulties involved with bringing The Fruit of Grisaia to PS Vita. It was noted as a long process due to paperwork for PSN, legalities from Japan having to be cleared, and writing up Game Design Documents from scratch.

Now it seems all of the legalities and most of the paperwork is done so, with any luck, it shouldn’t be much longer before The Fruit of Grisaia is approved for Sony’s handheld.
