New Pokémon Arcade Game In Japan Lets You Throw Pokéballs To Catch Pokémon

A new Pokémon arcade game by Bandai Namco will let you rack up points while you catch Pokémon by throwing actual Pokéballs.

 

The game features three stages, and you choose which one you want to play by tossing a Pokéball at the level. You also get to choose a partner Pokémon, and get to pick between the Generation VI starters Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie.

Once the level begins, you will have to throw Pokéballs to catch as many Pokémon as possible before time runs out. You can check out a video of the Sea stage being played below.

 

When you successfully finish a game, you will receive one of 24 collectible cards.

Additionally, getting a good score will increase your chance of encountering Mega Rayquaza along with some mythical Pokémon, too.
