Necrophone Games has announced that it’s bringing its first-person comedy-adventure Jazzpunk to PlayStation 4.

Released last year for PC, Jazzpunk is set in a 1950s Cold War setting and has you playing as Polyblank as he completes missions for a top-secret espionage agency. As Jazzpunk is all about absurdist humor the story is strung together by jokes more than anything.

Each mission area is meant to be explored thoroughly, not only to find all the small missions and story bits, but to also discover the many gags scattered throughout.

This PS4 version of Jazzpunk is said to have even more jokey content added to the single player campaign as well as an all-new four-player splitscreen deathmatch.

This splitscreen mode is based on the mini-game “Wedding Qake” which is Necrophone’s parody of multiplayer shoots (Quake 3 Arena, Goldeneye, Unreal Tournament). Originally it was a single player segment but due to fan requests it’ll be a full-fledge multiplayer mode.
