Microsoft and Enterbrain, the company that publishes Famitsu, are holding a contest for XNA developers where 3,600,000 yen ($40,000) in cash prizes will be awarded.
One winner in each category, Xbox 360, PC, and mobile phones will earn a grand prize of 500,000 yen ($5600). Two winners, a general developer and a student, in each category will receive second prizes worth 300,000 yen ($3350). Finally, special prizes worth 100,000 yen ($1100) will be awarded for each group.
Are you a RPG Maker master? You can submit a game developed with RPG Maker VX or RPG Maker XP as a PC entry.
Amateur game developers can submit games to the XNA Creators Club game software contest 2010 starting today and until March 31, 2010. Judging will take place in April and hopefully sometime after that we’ll see some fresh community games on Xbox Live.
