Square Enix have released an English version of their World of Final Fantasy trailer for Tokyo Game Show 2015. The trailer was originally showcased at the Sony press conference on September 15th in Japan. You can watch the new version with English subtitles below.
World of Final Fantasy will follow twins Reynn and Lann as they venture into a world known as Grymoire. There they will meet many familiar faces from the Final Fantasy series. The title will combine traditional RPG gameplay mechanics with an interesting and unique visual style.
Reynn and Lann will be able to capture and train various monsters, such as Cactuars and Chocobos, while on their journey through a variety Final Fantasy worlds. While the game will boast many characters and locations familiar to longtime Final Fantasy fans, it will be just as accessible to newcomers as well.
World of Final Fantasy will be released in 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita.
