Daum Communications, the western publisher of Black Desert, is asking if the European and North American versions should have both a Pay2Pay and Free2Play server once they launch.

This has come about due to the Russian publisher of the game, Gamenet, deciding to offer these two types of server when it launches in Russia on September 15th.

The Pay2Play server requires you to pay a monthly fee to join while the Free2Play server is, obviously, free for anyone to join. “On the Pay2Play Server players can buy stuff that is supposed to be in the cash shop directly ingame for Silver,” explains Daum. “The Free2Play Server will have a CashShop with Fashion, probably EXP Booster and much more.”

To find out if offering both of these types of server would be popular, Daum is having a poll, and if you enter you get a chance to win a Black Desert mouse pad.
