Final Fantasy XIV’s latest contest announced on the Lodestone challenged players to channel their inner aesthetician and design a hairstyle they would like to see in the game.
After sorting through the numerous designs submitted, the development team managed to whittle the competition down to 50 entries: 25 male and 25 female. Now it is up to the players to vote and decide which hairstyle should make it into the game. Here is a sample of the male finalists.

You can visit the Final Fantasy XIV forums to see the rest of the male finalists, as well as the female finalists. You can vote by logging into the forums and liking your favorite hairstyle designs.
Two grand prize winners, one from each category, will be chosen. They will receive the “Noble Barding” Chocobo barding along with having their winning hairstyle be implemented into the game.
Ten runners-up will also receive the Noble Chocobo barding. The voting period began on September 1 and will end on September 6 at 11:00 p.m. (PDT). Do you have a favorite out of the finalists you would like to see appear in the game?
