Valkyrie Drive Is A Game & Anime Full Of Battling Girls From Senran Kagura’s Producer

Marvelous recently announced a new mixed media project called Valkyrie Drive, a series that will be split into a console game, social game, and also a TV anime. Famitsu shares the a glimpse at what’s to come.

 

The Valkyrie Drive project is Marvelous’ upcoming major mixed media project, led by Senran Kagura producer Kenichiro Takaki, alongside animator, character designer, and anime director Hiraku Kaneko.

 

The console game, titled Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni, will feature Kenichiro Takaki as the producer, alongside Mana Kakkowarai as the character designer. The game will be developed by Senran Kagura Bon Appetit! makers Meteorise.

 

Dengeki reported it earlier as a PlayStation Vita title, but it has since then been changed to “console game”.

Valkyrie Drive: Siren  is the mixed media project’s social game, which will feature plenty of beautiful girls and risqué scenes. The game takes place on a man-made island called Siren, and the girls will need to fight to survive. This will also tie into the stories off the girls from the anime and console title.

And finally, Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid is the name of the upcoming anime with character designs by Hiraku Kaneko, led by Yosuke Kuroda, and production by ARMS. The game takes place on one of the five artificial islands, called Mermaid, and will feature “sexy battle action with beautiful girls.”

A release date for any of the three projects has yet to be announced, but we’ll likely hear of something in the near future.
