Dead Mage has released a new trailer for its dark fantasy hack-‘n’-slash RPG Children of Morta due to launching a Kickstarter to fund the game to completion.

The studio is looking for $65,000 in total, and offers a copy of the game on PC (Windows, Mac, and Linux), with a digital instruction booklet, and exclusive wallpapers, for $15.

If the base goal of funding is reached then Children of Morta will definitely be coming to Windows, Mac, and Linux in the best possible quality that Dead Mage can manage. There’s potential for it to also be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U.

Children of Morta follows the members of the Bergsons family, the guardians of Mount Morta, as they work together to fight off the demonic hordes that have invaded their homeland. Each family member has their own fighting style, including bow and arrow, fire magic, and getting up close with swords.

Those family members who don’t fight are able to craft items, relics, and potions with the resources you bring back to them. Children of Morta also takes elements from roguelikes and blends them in with a narrative, similar to how The Binding of Isaac does.
