Scram Kitty DX For PS4, PS Vita Is An Enhanced Version Of The Wii U Shooter-Platformer

An enhanced version of the previously Wii U-exclusive shooter-platformer Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails is making its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita under the title Scram Kitty DX.

It will have a PlayStation-exclusive Challenge Mode in which you collect floating cats as quickly as possible. Global leaderboards will also up the competition here.

Other than that, it seems to be more or less the same game, which if you’re not familiar, involves playing a robot moving along the rails of a 2D space laboratory to save cats from evil space rats. The robot can shoot but aiming is limited, meaning that you have to jump between rails to get the right angle, exploiting the gravity and inertia mechanics to jump as far as you can.

As to be expected, Scram Kitty DX will also have trophies for you to unlock. It will be Cross-Save and Cross-Buy, so you only pay a single price to get it on PS4 and PS Vita, and you can transfer saves between the two platforms.
