TravelShooting JP Is Essentially Space Harrier With A Japanese Schoolgirl

Recommended Videos

Takuji Fukumoto’s new iOS game TravelShooting JP is, essentially, classic 1980s arcade tunnel shooter Space Harrier with an added Japanese schoolgirl.

This schoolgirl is travelling across Japan with a guitar-shaped weapon blasting down waves of enemies from the skies and the seas.

There are dragons, aliens, bugs, and even hostile geometry to shoot down as they weave across the screen. You’ll also need to dodge hazards such as buildings and spikes as you fly the schoolgirl around the screen with tilt or touch controls.

Fukumoto says that new scenes and costumes will be added to the game in future updates.

You can download TravelShooting JP for free on the iOS App Store.
