Sherlock Holmes Shows Off His Talents In The Great Ace Attorney Trailer

Capcom have released a Tokyo Game Show 2014 trailer for The Great Ace Attorney, a game that follows that ancestor of Phoenix Wright during the Meiji era of Japan. As detailed in past reports, the game is set in England, where the protagonist Ryunosuke Naruhodou meets Sherlock Holmes.

The new trailer shows the young attorney in learning, along with Susato Mikotoba, a young lady who will support him as his “legal affairs assistant”. The trailer shows that the two travel to England to meet Holmes and his partner, Iris Watson.

Halfway through the video, Holmes shows off some of his deductive skills, as he looks at Susato and points out that she’s a sweet-tooth from Japan. She has written memos of various sweets on her hand, Holmes says. He also points out that she has a bulge on her side, which is undoubtedly the book of the British Empire’s code of laws.

Holmes also notes that her natural glancing towards her left side shows that she excels at logical thinking, but Ryunosuke butts in by saying that she’s just thinking about sweets.

Holmes concludes by saying that according to his reasoning, she’s a graceful Japanese lady who is a legal affairs assistant… to which Ryunosuke says, “Yes, that’s exactly what I introduced her as earlier.”

The Great Ace Attorney will release in Japan in 2015 for Nintendo 3DS. You can also read more about the four characters in our earlier report.
