That didn’t take long. Nintendo have released sales figures for Mario Kart 8, reporting that the game has sold over 1.2 million copies across Japan, Europe and America in its opening weekend.

 

Additionally, Nintendo also provided total sales figures to date for every Mario Kart game released thus far. Here’s how that looks:
