Psikyo’s Gunbird Is Back After A Long Hiatus. In Korea That Is.

The last we heard about Gunbird 2 Remix was back in 2010. Back then, PM Studios noted to Siliconera some issues they couldn’t comment on. While we wait on that, there’s now a brand new Korean version called Gunbird S for Kakao on smartphones.

The vertical shoot-em-up is indeed back, with different characters such as Aine and Marion back to play, each with their own endings just like the original series. You can also bring a friend along to make things go a little easier. It also appears you’ll be able to level up the characters, though what for we’re not too sure other than that it makes them stronger.

Gunbird S is out now on iOS and Android, though you’ll also need Kakao to get the game to work.
