Gun Fire Girls Looks Like A Smart Way To Handle A Shooter On Smartphones

Recommended Videos

Gun Fire Girls is a popular Korean shooter. It features three women with ridiculously oversized gun in a post-apocalyptic setting, who are purging the land of an undead/demonic menace. The catch is that it isn’t played on the PC, but on smartphones. It’s part of Kakao’s lineup of titles like Touch Bunny.

(Kakao, for those that aren’t familiar with it, is a mobile messenger app similar to WhatsApp or Line.)

The action takes place from a first-person perspective and players aim their gun while standing in a single spot. Waves of foes assault your chosen position, some slow and clumsily while others fly in or lob projectiles. The game can be played both with one or two hands.

The girls each come with their own preferred weapon: Valerie wields a  chaingun, Pepper a gatling gun, and Betty the automatic shotgun.

You’ll be able to upgrade both guns and girls for additional effects such as unleashing fire or lightning, more health, better aim and so forth. These girls are obviously special as well, and are able to unleash a kind of ESP Mode attack which sends them into overdrive with their weapons.

Gun Fire Girls is available now on Android. You’ll also need a Kakao account to sign in.
