Nintendo will be releasing a set of Pokémon-themed hanafuda cards in Japan, featuring artwork of Pokémon from the Red/Green games.

The deck will ship this November, Anime News Network reports, and is available for pre-order now. It will cost 2,500 yen and will contain 49 cards. A more expensive framed edition will be available at 15,100 yen, which will contain uncut cards.

It bears mentioning that, before they transitioned into a videogame developer, Nintendo ran a number of other business, including the production of hanafuda cards when the company was first founded in 1889.
