Animal Crossing: New Leaf Translation Began In March 2012

Nintendo have shared a new developer diary video featuring members of their Treehouse localization group who have worked on the Animal Crossing series over the years. The different group members briefly discuss their experiences working on the games and provide their thoughts of Animal Crossing: New Leaf as well.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf work began in late 2010, when the Treehouse group brainstormed with Nintendo’s Japan headquarters on events in the game. Translation work on the game began in March 2012.

 

Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be released on June 9th in North America and June 14th in Europe.
