Last week, Sega posted a banner to their Facebook page, asking if fans would support a release of their rhythm game, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F, for the PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe. At the time, Sega didnāt confirm or deny if a plan to bring the game over was already in motion.
To get a little more clarity on the matter, Siliconera got in touch with Segaās Associate Brand Manager, Aaron Webber, to find out if he could shed a little more light on the subject, and if the Facebook promotion was being used to gauge interest or more for marketing purposes.
āAs we gauge interest for a Hatsune Miku game in the west, we have a rare opportunity to let the fans speak up and show their desire,ā Webber shared with Siliconera via e-mail. āIf you like Hatsune Miku and want to see Project Diva F on PS3, you can directly influence the future by liking and sharing the Facebook post!ā
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F for the PlayStation 3 was released in Japan last week. The game features six more songs than its PlayStation Vita counterpart and a number of new modules (costumes) for its Vocaloid characters.
