Since cavia doesn’t exist anymore Square Enix had to hire another developer to make Drakengard 3. They could have hired Marvelous AQL which made The Last Story, but instead they chose Access Games to make the title.

Access Games is probably best known for making the cult hit Deadly Premonition. They also made Lord of Arcana and the PSP/Vita sequel Lord of Apocalypse for Square Enix.
Drakengard 3 is slated for release in 2013 as a PlayStation 3 title, according to Famitsu. The girl covered in blood is Zero, the protagonist in Drakengard 3.
