The Pokémon Company have launched their Pokédex for iOS application in North America and Europe, the company announced today. The app costs $1.99 in the U.S. and £1.49 in the U.K. Previously, it was only available in Japan.
As previously reported, Pokédex for iOS is a conversion of Pokédex 3D Pro for the Nintendo 3DS eShop, sans the stereoscopic 3D support and certain other features.
The base app lets you view information on the Unova Region Pokémon from Pokémon Black/White. The respective Pokédexes for other Pokémon regions can be purchased for additional money. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh Pokédexes are all available for $5.99/£3.99 each.
Just like the Nintendo 3DS version, Pokédex for iOS supports six different languages—English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese. You can search for Pokémon by name, and also by combinations of type, Egg Group, Ability, type matchup, and learnable moves.
