This week’s Dengeki PlayStation magazine reveals that Namco Bandai are publishing another light novel-based game for the PSP. Thankfully, unlike the last time Namco announced this sort of thing, this time we’re just being told what it is outright.

Bakemonogatari Portable is based on the popular light novel by Nisio Isin, and will feature 3D polygonal characters. It will feature recreations of scenes from the Bakemonogatari anime, and have some sort of local multiplayer for 2 players.

Bakemonogatari Portable is slated for release on August 23rd for 6,280 yen. A limited edition version will also be available for 9,980 yen.
