The obscure and often experimental Simple Series is coming to the Wii… again. D3 Publisher has two Simple 2000 Series games lined up for WiiWare: Vol. 1 The Block Kuzushi neo and Vol 2. The Number Puzzle neo. Each game will cost 500 Wii Points ($5) when they come out this summer in Japan. Since summer is technically over both games are on deck, but I’m going to pass on purchasing another breakout clone with online rankings. I’m more curious to see if WiiWare will be the home for D3’s campy B-rated games like Earth Defense Force 2017 and The Onechanbara.

Oh and this Simple Series for Wii is different from The Simple Wii series and Simple 2000 Series Wii. Some very confusing branding is being at D3’s Japan.
