Electronic Arts will release a four-player co-op demo for their Syndicate reboot at the end of January, featuring one of the nine co-op missions in the full game, all of which can be played with up to four players. EA say that several of these are re-imagined from the original Syndicate.
The three major corporations fighting for control of the market in Syndicate are: Cayman Global, Eurocorp, and Aspari. The co-op missions tell a separate story of the rise of a fourth syndicate, Wulf Western. You play as Wulf Western agents in the co-op missions, and it’s your job to try and steal technology from the other corporations and headhunt their senior executives.
The mission included in the demo is titled “Western Europe”. You have to infiltrate Cayman Global, assassinate a designated target, steal his technological blueprints, and push his forces back.
The Syndicate co-op demo will be available sometime at the end of this month for a limited time over Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The full game will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 21st in North America and February 24th in Europe.
