Choplifter HD Takes Off On PC, XBLA And PSN This Week

Remember Choplifter HD? inXile Entertainment remade the original 1980s Choplifter for PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, and the game is being released this week, on January 11th (PSN and PC get it on the 10th).

 

Konami are publishing the Xbox Live Arcade version of Choplifter HD. You control a rescue helicopter and have to rescue hostages from enemy camps, while warding off zombies and keeping track of your fuel and trying to keep your guns from overheating

 

The game has three helicopters for the player to use, and each one can be upgraded. Konami have previously mentioned that they’ll update Choplifter HD with free DLC that will add more missions and helicopters.

 

Choplifter HD costs $15 or 1200 Microsoft Points.
