Namco Bandai has been announcing characters for Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave in pairs. In story mode, you’ll go through Twin Brave with a game specific team say Team Hearts or Team Innocence, but in free mode you can partner Shing up with Ruca or whoever your favorite Tales series character is.
Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave uses a combat system Namco Bandai calls "Aggressive Chain Capacity (ACC)" system. You can call in a partner to rush an enemy by using some energy from the partner gauge. The meter recovers over time and the recovery rate depends on the bond between the two characters. If the partner gauge is full you can trigger Twin Brave mode, which makes both characters synchronize attacks for a limited amount of time.
Now let’s get to the character introductions. Shing and Kohak come from Tales of Hearts.
Caius and Rubia are from Tales of the Tempest.
Ruca and Spada are the heroes from Tales of Innocence.
Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave has cameo villains too. Elraine from Tales of Destiny 2 is a boss character.
You can also get a cameo weapon, Tipo Mittens, if you register at this site before January 17. Users will get a code to download the item for free. Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave comes out on February 23.
