Famitsu posted a new trailer for Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon which some kind person placed on YouTube for easy embedding. If you played Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army you should recognize a decent number of characters. Many of Raidou’s friends and demons return in the PlayStation 2 sequel. At the end of the trailer there is a teaser for Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne Maniax Chronicle Edition. Yes, it’s cool to see Raidou summon a demon from a test tube in another game, but does he really have a significant role? Or is Raidou going to have a boring role like Dante in this remix?
One other Raidou mashup is Raiho, a combination of Raidou and Hee-Ho Jack Frost’s catch phrase. Konamistyle is giving out Raiho plushies as a pre-order bonus in Japan. Here’s a look at what you’re unlikely to get even if Atlus picks this game up as one of their localization projects.
