It’ll Be Easier To Identify Bad-Mannered Players Online In Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will make it easier to identify people with bad network manners, Capcom say in a blog post on their community site. Detailing new online features added to Ultimate, they reveal that skull, silver and gold icons will be used to represent different kinds of players in the game’s online mode.

Prior to the start of a match, you’ll also be able to check your opponent’s information and decide whether or not you want to fight them in a Player or Ranked Match. Additionally, Spectator mode will allow for up to six players to watch a one-on-one battle at the same time.

Matchmaking has seen tweaks, too. If matching fails, the game will return you to the search screen again, instead of bumping you all the way back to the top menu screen. Capcom say the actual matchmaking will be better in Ultimate as well.
