Fossil Fighters: Champions Brings Dinosaurs To DS In November

Red Entertainment and Nintendo once developed a game titled Fossil Fighters. The follow-up to that game was titled Super Fossil Fighters, and was announced for a U.S. release earlier this year. This week, Nintendo of America announced that they’re changing the game’s name to Fossil Fighters: Champions. Here’s the latest trailer:

Fossil Fighters: Champions involves excavating and cleaning fossils and reviving them into Vivosaurs. A fossil park is hosting a grand tournament, in which Fossil Fighters from over the world are set to participate. New to this game are giant Fossil Rocks (which complete complete dinosaur fossils) and Odd Fossil Rocks (the two-sided ones you see in the trailer). The better you clean fossils, the more powerful your monsters will be.

Battles in the game consist of three-on-three parties, with the ability to rotate between your party monsters. You can also compete in matchmaking battles, as well as download new events and Vivosaurs off Wi-Fi.

Fossil Fighters: Champions is slated for release on November 14th.
