Fab Style Mixes Fashion Store Management With Dating-Sim

Recommended Videos

Sometime next year, Nintendo will publish a new Style Savvy for the Nintendo 3DS. Before that, though, Tecmo Koei are releasing their own fashion game, Fab Style, for both DS and 3DS. Here’s the game’s trailer:

You’re a female student, Meg, who has inherited her sister’s apparel shop. You can change Meg’s name and appearance at teh start of the game if you like. Similar to Style Savvy, you cater to customers, helping them choose clothes, makeup, and outfit your shop with different kinds of clothing and accessories from 14 different brands. Customers will react to your services, depending on whether they’re satisfied or not.

What sets Fab Style apart from Style Savvy is that it has a dating element. You meet guys in the game that are voiced by popular Japanese voice-actors. They all seem to hold rather prestigious jobs, too, ranging from doctors to bank employees to fashion models. During the course of the game, you’ll get to know them and have a chance to build up a romance.

Fab Style will release on November 24th for both DS and 3DS in Japan. The DS version will cost 5,040 yen while the 3DS version will go for 6,090 yen. A Fab Style Premium Box edition will be available for both devices, and will come with a guidebook, a soundtrack CD and art cards. This will cost 9,240 yen on the DS and 10,290 yen on 3DS.
