Sony have released a new commercial and hardware specifications for their upcoming PlayStation 3D TV display. The display will be sold in a $500 bundle along with MotorStorm Apocalypse (U.S. only), an HDMI cable and a single pair of 3D glasses:

If you want to play splitscreen with a friend like the trailer advertises, you’ll need to buy a second pair of glasses, which cost $69.99 and include rechargeable batteries. Pre-ordering the bundle before the end of September will also net you Resistance 3 for free.
The display is 24” with stereo sound speakers and weighs 5.7 kg, including the stand. In Japan, it will be released on November 2nd. A date for the display hasn’t been announced for the U.S., but it will be sometime in November, too.
