Yesterday, Nintendo of America announced a U.S. release date for Professor Layton and the Last Specter.

Alongside providing the date, Nintendo’s American publishing branch also confirmed that a 100-hour-long bonus RPG mode, Professor Layton’s London Life, would be included in the American version of the game as well.

Official Nintendo Magazine are reporting that this bonus mode will not be present in the game’s European release. Speaking with ONM, Nintendo U.K. stated that they have no plans to include the London Life in the U.K. version of the game. The European release is titled Professor Layton and the Spectre’s Call.

In the North American version of Professor Layton and the Last Specter, the London Life mode will be unlocked from the very beginning of the game. In the original Japanese release, it could only be accessed after completing the main game.
