5pb’s Xbox 360 remake of Ever17 isn’t too far away — they plan to release the game on July 28th in regular and limited editions. The regular edition will cost 7,140 yen while the limited edition (no details yet) will go for 9,240 yen.

5pb are remaking the game from scratch with the help of Cyberfront, and have chosen to use 3D models instead of 2D sprites for the conversation scenes. New event graphics and a new ending are part of the deal as well.

Ever17 tells the story of seven people trapped in an underwater park, with communication with the outside world completely cut off. As you progress through the game, you discover connections between the characters and how they tie in to the main story as well.
