Similar to what they did for Rune Factory Oceans, Marvelous have set up a blog for Kagura: Portrait of Girls. In the opening post, director, Kenichiro Takaki, talks about how he conceived Kagura in the first place.

Takaki, who you might know as the producer-cum-director of the Half-Minute Hero games, says that he first thought of creating a Nintendo 3DS title back in April 2010.

In less than half a minute of this thought, he came to the conclusion that people wanted breasts represented in 3D. And thus, he began work on a design document for such a game.

Takaki seems to have a hand in several aspects of Kagura. He says he decided on the budget, created characters, wrote the plot, designed the game systems, and met with the game’s character designer and scenario writer.

In case you missed our previous reports, Kagura’s scenario writer is Yukinori Kitajima, who worked on the story for 428, Okamiden, Chaos Rings, and Capcom’s sound-focused 3DS title, Nazo Waku Yakata. Character design is being handled by Nan Yaegashi.

While the game’s genre is classified as “Bursting Breasts Hyper-Battle,” Takaki-san says that Kagura will be a combination of sexy and violence, and will focus on simple action with previously unseen game systems. And with that, Bursting Breasts Producer, Kenichiro Takaki, signs off.
