It’s Kind Of Like What Diablo Would Be With PlayStation Move

Game clone specialists Gameloft have a dungeon crawler coming to PlayStation Network called Dungeon Hunter: Alliance.

I got to play a bit of it at Game Developer’s Conference. You point the PlayStation Move where you want to go and hold the trigger to make your character (mine was a warrior) move. Shake the controller to attack oncoming skeletons and if you point the wand down the warrior summons lightning around him to push off mobs. When you want to pick up weapons you mouseover to the item and shake.

It’s basically Diablo-lite with motion control instead of a mouse. Gameloft added standard controls too, but the most interesting thing about Dungeon Hunter: Alliance was how the developer turned a point-and-click into a PlayStation Move game.

Dungeon Hunter: Alliance will be released as a PlayStation Network download in April.
