Most JRPGs have some sort of system for upgrading skills and abilities. Visions of Mana locks upgrades behind a type of currency called Elemental Points.
In Visions of Mana, Elemental Points are essential for developing your characters’ classes. Each class has its own path on the Elemental Plot, where you can spend these points to unlock skills and passive abilities that enhance your characters. Understanding how to accumulate Elemental Points efficiently is key to maximizing your party’s potential.
There are three primary ways to gain Elemental Points in Visions of Mana.
Where to get Elemental Points in Visions of Mana
The first method involves harnessing elemental energy from stones scattered throughout the game’s landscape. However, you can only draw energy from stones that correspond to the elemental vessels you possess. For example, if you encounter a water stone before obtaining the water vessel, you won’t be able to harness its energy until you acquire the appropriate vessel. Although these stones represent specific elements, the Elemental Points you gain from them are flexible and can be spent on any part of the Elemental Plot.
Another way to accumulate Elemental Points is through leveling up your characters. Each time a character levels up, they earn 5 Elemental Points. This gradual increase helps build your total EP over time, ensuring that your characters’ progress remains consistent throughout the game.
Finally, you can convert Gold Clovers, which you’ll find scattered around the world, into Elemental Points. This process is straightforward, with a 1:1 conversion rate, meaning one Gold Clover equals one Elemental Point. You can allocate these points to any character, providing a versatile way to boost your party’s development.
By leveraging these three methods—harnessing elemental stones, leveling up, and converting Gold Clovers—you’ll steadily accumulate the Elemental Points needed to unlock powerful abilities and optimize your characters’ performance in Visions of Mana.
Vision of Mana will release worldwide on PS4, PS5 and PC on August 29, 2024.
