Twitch campaigns appearing ahead of or during the release of a popular game has become the norm. And World of Warcraft having one for the release of it’s highly anticipated The War Within expansion doesn’t seem to be an exception. This guide will break down everything you need to know to obtain the WoW The War Within Twitch Drops.
How to Get and Redeem WoW The War Within Twitch Drops
There are a total of two Twitch Drop rewards for The War Within. This includes the Ghastly Charger Mount and the Watcher of the Huntress Pet. While one of these rewards will require you to gift a total of two Twitch Subscriptions to participating channels, one you can obtain entirely for free.
To get the Ghastly Charger Mount you only need to do is to watch any World of Warcraft stream for four hours. You do not need to watch one channel, and the time spent watching can be spread between multiple channels. However, watching several channels at a time will not speed up the process of obtaining this mount. In order to redeem the mount you will need to link your Battle.net account to your Twitch account, which you can do here. Keep in mind that you will only have from August 26, 2024 at 3pm PT/6pm ET/12am CET to September 19, 2024 to obtain this mount.
In order to obtain this reward you will need to go the Drops page on Twitch, which can be found by clicking on your profile on the upper righthand corner of the screen. Scroll down until you find World of Warcraft, and then click the “Redeem,” button.
The Watcher of the Huntress Pet will be available to obtain from August 26, 2024 at 3pm PT/6pm ET/12am CET and last until September 26, 2024. You will need to gift a total of two Twitch Subscriptions to participating channels to obtain this pet. Now, actually obtaining this mount is a little more difficult. After gifting two Twitch Subscriptions you will be given a code that you will need to redeem on the Battle.net website, which can be done here.
It may take a bit to receive your code if you decide to get it on the first day of the campaign, so it is advised to gift the two Twitch Subscriptions a few days into the campaign. This way potential kinks are worked out. The code for this mount will expire on October 31, 2024.
And those are the two Twitch drops that will be available during World of Warcraft’s The War Within Twitch campaign! It’s unclear if the mount and pet will be available at a later date, but this is an easy way to earn a free mount at the very least.
World of Warcraft: The War Within is available on PC. The Twitch Drop campaign will last until September 26, 2024.
