Nendoroids are some of the best and most sought-after video game merchandise out there. However, with so many out there, and with their availability often being limited, it’s hard to know where to start collecting them. So here is a quick rundown of some of the best video game Nendoroids either available now or coming soon.
Phantom Thieves (Persona 5)
When it comes to some of the best video game Nendoroids, it’s hard to go wrong with the range of Persona 5 figures. The entire main party of Phantom Thieves is represented, and they usually get brought back in stock frequently. As someone who personally owns a Morgana, I can vouch for how great they are.
Each figure typically comes with removable mask pieces and the team member’s signature melee weapon and gun. In addition, they usually come with face plates and accessories allowing you to recreate their All-Out Attack victory screens.
Makoto, Haru, Yusuke and Ryuji are currently available from Crunchyroll for $40.99 each, but other party members are listed and likely to come back into stock.
Junko Enoshima (Danganronpa)
Danganronpa Nendoroids are frequently coming and going, but right now it is possible to pick up the notorious Junko Enoshima.
One of the more expressive Nendoroids, Junko comes with a range of faceplates and special arms pieces including one allowing her to pose with her arms crossed. She also comes with a crown and a miniature Monokuma she can hold or pose alongside.
Junko is available from Crunchyroll for $71.99.
Kirby 30th Anniversary Nendoroid
While it’s increasingly becoming harder to find, the special 30th Anniversary Kirby Nendoroid is easily one of the cutest. Nintendo’s adorable hungry pink ball is ideal for a Nendoroid, and this special edition figure is one of the more interesting. For a start, the figure makes use of magnets for posing, and comes with a special star-shaped base. The range of poses and clear love for the original franchise make this one of the best video game Nendoroids out there.
In addition to all of this, Kirby comes with four faceplaces: happy, shocked, knocked out and a recreation of his face from the original Kirby’s Dream Land box art. He also comes with a Star Rod, bindle stick, Friend Heart and a sweet potato.
While it’s hard to find, there is still some limited stock of the Kirby 30th Anniversary Nendoroid available from Amazon for $69.99.
Kaine and Emil (Nier Replicant)
While there are plenty of Nier Automata Nendoroids out there, its predecessor Nier Replicant has also gained some of its own that are worthy of your attention. Kaine and Emil are two of the most notable characters from the original Nier, and they’ve both been created in Nendoroid form.
Kaine comes with two faces, both of which are angry, along with two swords and a Lunar Tear accessory. Emil also comes with a Lunar Tear, along with a staff and a removable cloak.
Both Kaine and Emil are available from Crunchyroll for $65.99 and $69.99 respectively, although both currently have some extra sale discounts. Kaine is also available from the Square Enix store for $65.99.
Don-Chan (Taiko no Tatsujin)
While not currently available yet, a Nendoroid of the cheerful mascot of the Taiko no Tatsujin series is on the way. He’s a unique character that makes perfect sense in chibi Nendoroid form, and he’s been designed to be paired with other characters if you wish.
Don-chan comes with three faces of increasing intensity, along with hand parts with bachi and a special taiko drum base. It also comes with hand parts for other Nendoroids, so you can pair him with another character who’s ready to play him.
Pre-orders for the Don-chan Nendoroid are closed from Good Smile’s website, but pre-orders are available over on Crunchyroll for $44.99.
Iron Fist Alexander (Elden Ring)
Releasing very soon, the Alexander Nendoroid is one of the best video Nendoroids simply because of how unique it is. This sentient pot is the focus of a side quest in Elden Ring and has quickly become a fan favorite for his unique design.
Alexander doesn’t come with as many accessories as some other entries on this list, although this is because he is a sentient pot. However, he does have a range of arms for posing and comes with a Jar-Bairn.
Iron Fist Alexander will soon be available from Crunchyroll for $49.99.
Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog)
With the upcoming release of the Sonic 3 movie and the promised appearance of Shadow, it’s not surprising that Good Smile have a Nendoroid of the Ultimate Lifeform coming soon. It’s the fourth Sonic-related Nendoroid to be released, and all of them would be considered some of the best video game Nendoroids. However, the others are currently unavailable.
Shadow comes with multiple eye and mouth pieces, along with a Chaos Emerald.
Shadow the Hedgehog can be pre-ordered from Crunchyroll for $67.99 with an estimated release in January 2025. Tails and Knuckles are also listed, although they are currently both out of stock.
