Rock Howard was one of the very first characters revealed in SNK’s initial teaser at EVO 2023, along with Terry Bogard. However, these early-revealed characters have still yet to get their own individual trailers unlike those announced later, such as Billy Kane, B. Jenet, and Marco Rodrigues. The individual trailers let prospective players know more about the combo attacks each character can unleash.

The company uploaded the trailer in two different versions, as the game will support Japanese and English voiceovers. Yuma Uchida will provide Rock Howard’s Japanese voiceover:

And here is the English voiceover version of the trailer, with Griffin Puatu providing the voices:

Rock Howard made his overall debut in the storyline of the 1995 entry Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory. However, players could only play as him starting from the 1999 title Garou: Mark of the Wolves, which was also the latest Fatal Fury series entry before City of the Wolves.

SNK also added Rock as a playable character in several entries in The King of Fighters series including KOF XIV and KOF XV. He appeared as a DLC character in both of the series’ latest two mainline entries.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC in early 2025.
