The music video starts with a static artwork of popular character Cynthia talking through a text box akin to that of the Pokemon series, and continues with a similar artwork of Miku being overlayed in the same pose as Cynthia. The fan favorite character and Elite Four Champion made her debut in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. The video then continues by having Cynthia’s Pokemon team joining Miku as she sings, with Spiritomb, Roserade, Lucario, Milotic, Togekiss, and her iconic Garchomp appearing in that order. This is the same team Cynthia used in Pokemon Platinum.

The Pokemon Company International originally announced Project Voltage in September 1, 2023 as a collaboration between the Pokemon video game series with popular Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku. “Volt Tackle,” the first of the 18 Pokemon type songs released in September 29, 2023.

While this is the last original song from the project produced, it was also announced through the official website that remixes of existing songs will appear. The first two will be “Electrical Forecast” and “Journey’s Prequels, Journey’s Traces,” by the artist Iyowa.
