What Are the Chipotle Items and When Are They Available?

Tekken 8 will be getting special Chipotle branded items as part of a promotion, starting from July 23, 2024. This will coincide with the release of the v1.06 update, which will bring Lidia Sobieska to the game as a DLC fighter, along with a new Fight Pass and a new stage, Seaside Resort.

The items that will be added to the game include a Chipotle Raglan T-Shirt, Chipotle Pepper hit effect and a Chipotle Medallion Buddy which can hover near your character in battle. In addition, there will be a Chipotle 3/4 Sleeve Shirt for Fight Lounge Avatars.

How Do You Claim the Chipotle Items in Tekken 8?

Unlike previous free items in Tekken 8, the Chipotle branded items are not found in the Tekken Shop. Instead, players must defeat the Chipotle King. This is similar to the unlock method found for some in-game customization options, where players must defeat a specific avatar in a Ghost Battle.

To find Chipotle King, players must enter the Fight Lounge. Inside the Battle Area, head to the bar on the right side of the room when facing the stage to find the Chipotle King. As you may guess from his name, he is represented by an avatar of King. Challenge him to a fight to enter a battle against a King wearing the special promotional items. Defeat him to claim them for yourself.

In addition, players can also obtain 500 Tekken Coins using the Chipotle app and entering the promo code EWGF623 when placing an order. This is a repeat of a previous promotion that ran in April 2024.

Codes are only available for console versions of the game, however.

Tekken 8 is out now for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S.
