When is the Egg Festival date in Stardew Valley?

The Egg Festival happens every year in-game on Spring 13. The actual hours for the event are between 9am and 2pm What this basically means is you need to head to the town square in Pelican Town and speak with Mayor Lewis to begin the festival during this timeframe.

The premise of the Egg Festival is basically just a simple Easter egg hunt. You, Abigail, and the kids around town attempt to find as many eggs as possible within the 50-second frame of time. The layout of the eggs in the event changes depending on if it is an even or odd year.

What is the best Egg Festival route in Stardew Valley?

Even with the changing formats for the Egg Festival in Stardew Valley depending on the year, there is a general best route. This route is courtesy of Dargonaxe on Reddit, who graciously discovered this route in the past (please excuse my poor drawing with my finger on my iPad). The general idea is to start by heading to the first egg directly to the left of the town square.

From there, you wrap around down and slowly make your way to the pier to the east. You eventually make your way back up to the town square for the 11th and final egg. You basically go in this U-shaped loop to the south of the square. It is very much possible to get this done in the 50-second time limit. However, you don’t need to get all 11 eggs. You can usually win first place with only nine or 10 eggs. This will nab you the Straw Hat on your first win and a prize ticket on subsequent victories.

Stardew Valley is available right now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
