Kadokawa will produce its KDColle figures based on the character illustrations from the covers of the Neon Genesis Evangelion [Collector’s Edition] manga series. The figure of Rei Ayanami from the manga’s second volume will be available at ¥19,800 / $113.99. Asuka Soryu Langley’s figure from the third volume cover will cost slightly more at ¥20,900 / $119.99.

At the same time, Good Smile Company also put up listings for Sega’s upcoming S-Fire figure of the long-haired Rei Ayanami from Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. This figure will have the same prices as the Kadokawa counterpart at ¥19,800 / $113.99.

Kadokawa’s Neon Genesis Evangelion figures will appear earlier, as the pre-order windows will close on August 28, 2024, with the products set to ship from Japan in January 2025 and North America in Q2 2025. Good Smile Company will close pre-orders for Sega’s Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Rei Ayanami figure on September 25, 2024, and ship the finished builds from Japan in July 2025 and North America in Q4 2025.
