How to Save in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is one of the most experimental games from Capcom in a long time. The strategy action game has a lot of fascinating mechanics, but it also buries some of them in the process. Fortunately, here’s how to save in Kunitsu-Gami if you are struggling to figure it out.

How to Unlock Saving

Oddly enough, you need to progress a little bit into the game to unlock the saving feature. For some reason, this is locked behind a little bit of gameplay. You need to first complete the prologue tutorial part where the game has the first Seethe battle where you really can’t lose or die.

Then you need to complete the first stage of the game, which revolves around Myoko Pass. Once you escort Yoshiro all the way to the end of the path in the village, you will complete the stage. This will unlock various features all at the same time and open up the game more. Overall, this takes about 30 minutes or less to unlock saving.

Where to Save in Kunitsu-Gami

Once you complete the first stage and unlock the tent, you will now be able to save in Kunitsu-Gami. To save, head to the tent in the village or stage you are currently in. Here, you have access to a ton of different features but for now, we want to focus on saving your progress.

To save, talk with the Maiden Yoshiro and select the book-like object in the top left corner of the table. Here, you will be able to write in the notebook and save your progress. Make sure to do this often to avoid losing progress if you perish in battle or something else happens.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
