There are four types of Pokemon Yashinomi cleaning agents you’ll be able to buy from Saraya:

  • Eevee: Fabric softener
  • Maushold: Condensed laundry detergent
  • Pikachu: Vegetable and eating utensils cleaner
  • Sprigatito: Premium power cleaner (a little goes a long way when it comes to oily dishes and pots)

All of the bottles will have an Alolan Exeggutor somewhere on the packaging. This is a reference to how Alolan Exeggutor looks like a giant palm tree and “Yashinomi” literally translates to “coconut.”

These Pokemon cleaning agents are yet another example of merchandise aimed at adults. Since Pokemon has been around since a lot of people’s childhoods, many older people still like to buy items with the monsters’ designs on them. Other goods that target a more mature audience than your average child include Tiffany jewelry, kitchen supplies, and couch cushions.

The Pokemon cleaning detergents from Saraya will appear in stores in Japan from July 16, 2024. They will only be around for a limited time. You can also get them via Rakuten.
