Very early on in your playthrough of Magical Delicacy, you may run across an overgrown vine that will block a pathway. Are you wondering how you venture down this small path? Well, you will need to create a Wither Elixir in Magical Delicacy to get by.
Note that before starting this endeavor in Magical Delicacy, you must complete “The Apprentice Assessment” quest. After completing this mission, you can purchase a cauldron at the blacksmith’s store, which enables you to cook potions.
Where is the overgrown vine in Magical Delicacy?
Luckily, the monstrous vine is not too far from your culinary kitchen, but you will have to head there in the evening. Only specific platforms reveal themselves at night time. From the storefront, head right into the next area. Maneuver yourself upward through the platforms until you reach the staircase, then head left, and you will run into Sana standing by the large vine.
How do I get the ingredients for the Wither Elixir in Magical Delicacy?
The Wither Elixir has four criteria: Vine Powder, Poisonous, Spicy, and it must be cooked at night. If you want to buy the recipe for the Wither Elixir, you can buy it from Sana, who resides in The Braided Petal store in Central Plaza. You can also buy Wildvine from her. Grind down the Wildvine with the mortar and pestle back in the kitchen to create Vine Powder.
For the poisonous component, you’re going to have to buy Garding Gloves from Sana in the Braided Petal store for 275 red beads. After purchasing them, you can pick up poisonous plants within the environment. It may take a few in-game days to come across poisonous ones, but the grassy terrain near the vine is a good spot where it tends to reappear. I used a Foxglove for this potion.
For the last component, you will need to use a spicy ingredient. I used an Onion, which you can find scavaging through the landscape’s environments. However, other ingredients could hit the criteria. You can always check the attributes of any resource you are currently carrying by going into the menu and looking at your ingredients.
How do I brew the Wither Elixir?
To cook the Wither Elixer potion, all you need to do is put the three ingredients stated above in the cauldron during the night hours and cook the potion.
After you have brewed the Wither Elixer, return to where the vines are located. Interact with the vine, and you will be prompted to lace the vines with the Wither Elixir. When you venture down the new pathway, you will meet Firgi, who will give you in-game currency. Go back and talk to Sana. From here on out, Sana will now sell more items in her store back at The Braided Petal.
Magical Delicacy is now available on the Xbox One, Xbox X/S, and PC via Steam and will be available on the Switch on August 15, 2024.
